Worthy Program

One of our team members, Shukriyyah, dream is to start her on radio program.    The program would feature inspiring talks, spirituals, easy listening and jazz music.   The program will probably air on 900 am WURD.  This station has been an outlet that is becoming the voice of the community.   Their goal is to educate, motivate, stimulate, uplift and inform their listening audience based on the core belief that knowledge is power.   The station appeals to anyone interested in understanding the diverse perspectives that exist but have little outlet for expression.    Founded on the concepts of empowerment and community focus, 900 AM WURD incorporates a responsive, cutting edge format that examines local and national issues. They are determined to make a difference. 

However, your assistance is needed in order for the program to air.     The total will be updated and posted on this page as  sponsors increase.   The supporters names recognized  unless they request to remain anonymous.   Once the initial start up cost is reach, the date and time of the first show  will be posted on this page within weeks.   Donations cannot be accepted from persons who have already advertised on this station, 900 WURD.    However, if you have not, this is your opportunity to support to a worthy program.
